Sanga Yohanna Roslyn survived a serious car accident that killed her mentor and two other people.
She shared her story in an interview with Lucky Udu, a popular content creator and motivational speaker in Nigeria on September 13, 2025. They were on a business trip when another car lost control and crashed into theirs. Roslyn was in the front passenger seat and was knocked unconscious by the impact.
Her mentor, who was driving, did not survive. In the hospital, Roslyn said she saw a vision of him. He told her, “Till we meet on the other side of life,” and then disappeared. Roslyn felt so sad that she prayed to God to take her life instead, because her mentor left behind four children. But she then heard a voice telling her that her mentor had completed his work on Earth.The crash left Roslyn with a broken leg, and her brother lost a toe.
Both had to go through weeks of painful recovery. Despite everything, Roslyn promised God that if she survived, she would live a meaningful life.Now, she sees her survival as a calling to continue her mentor’s work and live with purpose.
Moral Lesson: Life is fragile — cherish people while you still have them. Tomorrow is never promised.
